I have been involved with Athelite Player Development as a parent, coach and instructor since around the time of its inception. As an instructor I have helped at APD bootcamps and clinics on several occassions and I stress that there is not a better run program around. Chris and his staff enforce the importance of hard work to the kids while also making them understand that baseball is a game that is meant to be fun. As a coach I have used numerous of the APD Catchermtrx workouts to help strengthen and condition my catchers on the Freshman, JV and Varsity levels of high school baseball. But most importantly, as a parent APD has taught my son that just because there is hard work involved in this game doesn’t mean you cant enjoy yourself at the same time. He asks continually when the next bootcamp is because he cant wait to go back.
