Sept 2006 – Chris Reyes becomes Long Island University Catching Coach and starts to introduce drills that include catching drills incorporated with plyometrics to his catchers at school . And the two were a great combination
May 2008- Danny Etkin (LIU Catcher) receives NEC All Conference Honors . (Catchermtrx’s first student )
July 2008 – Danny Ektin Signs a professional contract to play in Texas.(Catchermtrx first Pro player)
July 2008- LIU signs Tyler Jones to be a catcher at LIU.
Dec 2008 – Chris Kievet (LIU Catcher) Receives Pre Season NEC All Conference Honors.
Jan 2009 – LIU signs Mathew Valle to catch at LIU. Mathew is the nephew of former Major League Catcher and The MLB Networks Dave Valle .
May 2009 – Chris Reyes Patents/Copyrights “Catchermtrx” name and program.Begins to create The new world for catchers.
May 2009 – Catchermtrx partners with LIU Head strength coach Richard James to help create the “strength” portion of Catchermtrx.
June 2009 – Chris Reyes speaks about Catchermtrx at Blue Chip Prospects Underclassman Showcase at Jack Cust Diamond Nation.
June 2009 – Chris Reyes Speaks about and performs Catchermtrx drills at Riseball Softball Camp in Edison NJ.
October 2009 – Chris Reyes works with first girl in Catchermtrx history – Kristen Solari
January 2010- Chris Reyes performs Catchermtrx drills at Long Island Titans baseball Org. Winter workouts. Ronkonkoma New York.
March 2010 – Chris Reyes and Catchermtrx teams up with USA Athletes International to coach their Collegiate National Team heading to Curacao in June 2011.
July 2010 – Chris Reyes joins Jay Nelson ( Head Softball Coach Rutgers University) to discuss Catchermtrx drills to 20 softball players at The Riseball Softball camp in Edison New Jersey.
August 2010 – Chris Reyes creates a clothing line for catchers named The iCatch collection
